Tenemos una vida de tiempo...

Tanto correr, tanto correr...

-----------------------------------------------

We're always in a hurry...Have you ever thought about how fast time flies? Thinking in positive we can think it's good, because things are going well, so time flies; but in the other hand maybe we don't realize that time passes and... will never return.

In short, we should LIVE and ENJOY every moment, every little thing, every smile, every conversation, every glance...It's worth it ;-)

I went to the Art Exhibition in Madrid last saturday where I could share a fantastic time with people whom I was really hoping to know.
Here you can see a funy portrait made by Javier de Blas, a great artist and sketcher.
I'd been pleased to meet more friends.. Maybe in the future! :)
In this portrait I look like Esther, a famous comic character! :))

------------------------------------------------------------------
I should say that abstract art is not one of my favourite style...But I must say too that I love every painting, drawing or sketch that makes me feel that special feeling that you can feel with this kind of works; it's not important if it was made by a wellknown person or not.
That happened with this drawing. If I say you that a wellknown artist did it, do you think the way to see it could change?
The autor of it was my dauhther Verónica (8 years old). She drew it in her last visit to the Abstract Museum in Cuenca (internationally recognized). Her teacher asked the students to draw a portrait in the abstract style of the museum and this was my daughter's drawing. I think it's really good both in its composition and the final result.
So I'd love to share with all of you because my daughther will be charmed to read all of your kind comments about "her work of art" :D

Entretenimiento nocturno...

------------------------------------------------
This drawing, insted of a nightly practice, I can say it's a "nightly entertainment" :)
I was surfing the internet and I visited the Andrea Joshep's blog, a grat artist. I consider myself as a fan of her. ( http://andreajoseph24.blogspot.com) She did this drawing, but well done, of course...
So I spent my time doing more and more circles and listening to "Sin Bandera" group: it was a fantastic time for me, with no doubt...

Ejercicio nocturno (II)

-----------------------------------------------------------

Another night exercise in my Secret Santa's sketchbook.

I have to face shadows isue with my pencil sketches. Nowadays I think it's a complex topic in drawing for me, but I guess it's a matter of information and practice, as usual. I'm on it ;-)

-----------------------------------------------------
In my last trip by plane I took my sketchbook and rest of tools for sketching with me, and I had the opportunity of sketching in the airport.
In the left side you can see a sketch in which my friend Tere is sleeping in the middle of fly; and on the top right you can see a sketch of my boots. I did it while waiting to board.
There is always some gap of time to take advantage of idle time, do you agree? ;-)

Ejercicio nocturno (I)

;-) [Realizado en mi recién estrenado cuaderno del Amigo Invisible de "Ladrones de Cuadernos" :)] ----------------------------------------------------- In the silent of the night, when all the family is sleeping and time allies with me, in that precise moment it's when I enjoy more drawing or painting. Listening to my favorite music and drawing I realize that it's one of those moments that makes me happy... Again a demonstration that we don't need great things to enjoy our life... ;-)

We had only time to traipse all over Lisboa, and we enjoyed it, so we thought about coming back to Portugal with more time to visit more places in that beautiful land. Here you can see a sketch of the beautiful Tower of Belén: I loved that place...
