This is the following drawing for the "Sketchbook Project": a view of the wellknown "Hanged Houses" in my hometown, Cuenca (Spain).
I must say this is the first time I do a front view drawing of this place...There is a saying in my country that says: "In blacksmith's home there is wooden spoon" (guess it has in English the same meaning as in Spanish.....) :))
Project theme: "If you lived here..."
Drawing #2: "...you could know my hometown, CUENCA: one of the most beautiful places in the world"

wonderful sketch I love it.
ALEX it's like that: an absolutely contrast between rocks, buildings and beauty, as you can see in lot of views of CUENCA :)

ELAINE you're right! That's the similar saying :)
Thanks both of you for your visit! ;)
What a wonderful sketch. I love it all - the lines, the shapes and the colours!
5 de agosto de 2010, 10:46Here in the UK we too have a similar saying - 'The cobbler goes worst shod'.
Thank you, MARANCAT! :) Yeah! Here, in Spain, we have lots of saying about whatever situation!
